Seeds of Life is a Verbum Dei Spirituality Center in Tracy, California. It is a Catholic non-profit organization that aims to provide a tranquil and contemplative environment of quiet, beauty, rest and renewal in nature to nourish the individual's mind, body and spirit.

Seeds of Life Spirituality Center seeks to provide a sacred space where people can deepen their spiritual lives and be prepared for service/ministry in a variety of settings. Our goal is to empower individuals, families, and communities by leading them to a deeper relationship with God, themselves, and others through contemplation, nature, art and music.

Last year we were able to complete the foundation of our chapel through your generous support and the number of people who have spent time in this place of beauty and renewal has increased. We continue to dream for seeds of life spirituality center and we hope that you will join us in making this dream a reality.

Construction Phase Two: Pond and Fencing (County and Fire Department requirements)

  • This phase consists of meeting the county and fire department codes, which are required before we can continue any further with the construction of the chapel. One requirement is a 7,000 gallon static water supply on-site, with drafting apparatus for fire truck access. To meet this requirement, we are building a pond, which will then not only serve for fire safety, but also enhance the retreat environment with a beautiful prayer and meditation area.
  • San Joaquin County also requires us to have appropriate screening/fencing on our property due to public use as a religious assembly.
