Support the Verbum Dei Ministry in the Bay Area

This year we have welcomed over 1200 people on retreat, we have held over 400 weekly prayer groups throughout the Bay Area and online, we have held countless spiritual conversations and pastoral counseling moments. And we have accompanied one class of twenty soon to be spiritual directors.

We believe that our retreats and events should be available for everyone and finances should not be a barrier to attending. So, in the past six months, we have provided $10,000 in scholarships for those who are in need of financial assistance to attend a retreat. These retreats provide healing, empowerment, reconciliation and communion. We would like to continue offering these scholarships and expanding our ministry. And your support would make that possible.

As you think of your end of year giving, would you like to help people who do not have the financial possibility the opportunity of attending a transformative retreat or growing in skills to be a lay leader in the Church?

$50 would provide a day retreat scholarship.

$300 would provide a scholarship for a married couple to attend a weekend retreat together.

$1500 would provide a year scholarship for spiritual direction training.
